Spring Sports Update - Let the Games Begin! After a wild stretch of weather and a state of emergency due to the recent ice storm, we’re excited to get back on track! Practices, games, meets, and tournaments will now resume as scheduled, and we’re looking forward to seeing our athletes back in action. We are working hard to reschedule any games or meets that were missed last week—stay tuned for updates.
Middle School Track will kick off full practice sessions starting Monday, April 14th from 3:00–4:15 p.m. Students are also welcome to join Mr. Gray for some “pre-season” practices on April 10–11 from 3:00-4:15pm.
Our first academic grade check will take place on Friday, April 18th. As a reminder, student-athletes must be passing all of their classes, including CTE and Dual Enrollment courses, in order to remain eligible to compete each week. Academics come first, and we want to see our student-athletes succeeding in the classroom and on the field.
We’re also looking for volunteers to help in the concession stands during our home baseball and softball games. This is a great way to support our athletes and help keep our programs running strong. All money raised through concessions goes directly back into our athletic department and benefits all sports—helping us with equipment, uniforms, transportation, and more. Your time and support make a huge difference, and we truly thank you in advance for being part of what makes our athletic community so special! Lastly, consistent attendance at practices is crucial for team success. Please make every effort to be present, and communicate directly with your coach if your athlete will be late, absent, or has any scheduling conflicts.
Let’s bring the energy this spring—Go Wildcats! 🐾
