Lady Wildcats in their first home game of the season, followed by the first Northern Lakes Conference game.

In non-conference play the Lady Wildcats hosted the Eagles of Fairview on Thursday September 8th, 2022.

The Lady Cats were tough right out of the gate winning the first two set in the best three out of five game. Unfortunately, the Lady Eagles were able to find their stride and take the next two sets to tie it up at 2-2. 

In the fifth and final set the Lady Wildcats contested the Lady Eagles all the way. In the end the win went to Eagles. Overall the game was exciting and showed the improvement the Lady Cats have made in a short time since their season opener.

Friday night, September 9th 2022 the Lady Wildcats were on the road to play conference rival NMCA Eagles. In the first set the Lady Wildcats fought and made the Eagles earn the set win. The second set saw a change of momentum and the Cats were able to take the set. Tied 1-1 going into the third set, the Lady Cats had a few communication errors and that opened the door for an Eagles rally. The Lady Eagles were able to roll with the momentum and win the third set. 1-2 Eagles lead in the best of 3/5 game going into the fourth set. Lady Wildcats came out swinging and went back and forth on points. Finally, the Lady Cats began to take the lead but a few good plays by NMCA and the momentum swung back to their side. The Eagles won the fourth set and the game 1-3.

The Lady Wildcats next game is verse conference rival Boyne Falls home on Tuesday, September 13 5:30pm.
