Second home game, second Northern Lakes Conference game of the season

The Lady Wildcats were back in action Tuesday night at home vs conference rival Boyne Falls, Lady Loggers. 

In the Junior Varsity game the Lady Wildcats started the first set with a 9-0 run before a side out in favor of the Lady Loggers swung the momentum the other direction. The Lady Loggers won the first set. 

The second set was a little more back and forth but still saw the Lady Loggers come out on top.

The third and final set, the Lady Wildcats pulled it all together and won the set. JV final Wolverine 1 - Boyne Falls 2.

In the Varsity Contest the Lady Wildcats really brought the energy. Several plays had the crowd all in.

The first set, the Lady Wildcats put up a good lead but the Lady Loggers picked away at the score to slowly take the lead and put the set away.

The second set the Lady Wildcats fell behind at first. They then made a few adjustments and made a game of it. . Unfortunately, a few plays in the Lady Loggers favor and the set ended with the Loggers taking the set win.

The Lady Wildcats needed to rally in the third set or the night would be done early.

In the third set the Lady Loggers were just too much to stop on this night. The final score Wolverine 0 - 3 Boyne Falls.

Junior Varsity record is now 0-2 overall and 0-1 in Northern Lakes Conference.

The Varsity record is now 0-4 overall and 0-2 in Northern Lakes Conference.

The Varsity Lady Wildcats are on the road Wednesday visiting the Lady Yellow Jackets of Vanderbilt. Friday, Junior Varsity and Varsity Lady Wildcats are home vs the Lady Lancers of Ellsworth.
